Music Veteran Stevie Wonder has welcomed a cute baby girl with his girlfriend Tomeeka Bracy and they have named their daughter Nia Nia is the second child for the couple and Stevie Wonder’s 9th child, according to his reps to US Weekly. The 64-year-old musician is a dad to seven other children from previous relationships. The 64-year-old singer confirmed he would be a father again in an interview with The View last month after he was asked to set the record straight that he was expecting triplets. He said, ‘I got, how many, 22 kids? It’s not true. The truth is we’re going to have a wonderful daughter, born in December, [and her] name is going to be Nia, which is [means] purpose’ Congratulations to Stevie Wonder and Tomeeka.

Justice Mohammed Lima of the Federal High Court in Benin, Edo State, yesterday ruled that inmates of all prisons across Nigeria have the right to vote in all elections conducted in the country. The suit was filed by Victor Emenuwe, Onome Inaye, Kabiru Abu, Osagie Iyekepolor, Modugu Odion (for and on behalf of inmates of Nigeria Prisons) against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Prisons Service. The plaintiffs had in an amended Originating Summons, asked the court to determine “whether having regards to the provisions of section 25 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, as amended in 2011, and section 12 (1) of the Electoral Act 2010, the plaintiffs are not entitled to be registered as voters by the first Defendants.”

Prince Harry visited Lesotho to see the work of his charity Sentebale. Sentebale provides healthcare and education to vulnerable children in Lesotho, Southern Africa. The particular theme of his visit was to check on the progress of the Mamohato Childrens Centre which will provide vital support to children affected by HIV. Prince Harry founded Sentebale (which means Forget Me Not in Sesotho) with Prince Seeiso in 2006. Speaking of the opportunity to document the visit himself, Prince Harry said:  "I have always enjoyed photography and the challenges that come with trying to capture the perfect shot, although privately I don't take many photos. The best photos I have are in my head - I have some very special memories, mostly from Africa. It's legally over for Kris and Bruce Jenner… the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars have finalized their divorce. It's been a little over a year since the ex-couple formally announced their separation. A Los Angeles county judge has signed legal documents, but they won't be officially divorced until March 23, 2015, due to the six-month legal requirement. The Insider With Yahoo obtained the papers, which show that Kris will keep the family home while the pair will divide various bank accounts and other assets. Per the agreement, Kris has to pay Bruce $2.5 million to equalize things. They did not have a prenup. According to the documents, neither Bruce, 65, nor Kris, 59, will receive spousal support and there was no need for a custody provision as Kylie Jenner, 17, will turn 18 next year. 54 soldiers including two Corporals, nine Lance Corporals and 49 Private soldiers attached to the 7 Division Nigerian Army in Maiduguri Borno state have been sentenced to death by firing squad for mutiny by a court marshal that sat in Abuja today Wednesday December 17th. The soldiers were convicted on a a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy to commit mutiny. According to the charge sheet, the soldiers conspired to commit mutiny against their superior at the 7 Division on  August 4  at the Mulai Primary School camp, opposite AIT Maiduguri, Borno state. Captain  J.E. Nwosu, an army Captain who is the prosecutor in the case, told the marshal panel that the accused soldiers had on  August 4 , in Maiduguri, refused to join the 111 Special Forces Battalion troops, commanded by Timothy Opurum, a Lieutenant Colonel for an operation which was meant to recapture Delwa, Bulabulin and Damboa in Borno State from members of Boko Haram.
