The Celestial Church of Christ has released a statement reacting to the report of one of their pastors, Francis Taiwo, who chained his nine year old son, Korede Taiwo, for weeks without food at the Key of Joy Parish, Ajiwo at Ajibawo in Ado Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State. FG should stop the payment of salaries and allowances to former governors who are in the senate- Femi Falana

Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana, in a lecture he delivered yesterday at the investiture of Mr. Dele Ojogbede as President of Rotary Club, Ikoyi in Lagos, said, it is illegal for former governors, who have been placed on life pension in their states, to also earn salaries in the National Assembly. He also said that lawmakers should not be paid their full salaries and allowances if they don't sit for the mandatory 181 days before going on a seven-month recess. Falana counselled the Federal Government on what to do with those undermining the anti-corruption war.  In regards to former governors in the Senate, Falana said: “It is high time the Federal Government stopped the payment of salaries and allowances to former governors who are in the senate. Controversial Enugu-based Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka says the inability of former President Jonathan's administration to save when there was oil boom is what is responsible for the present recession of the Nigerian economy. According to him, Jonathan ran a wasteful government. Mbaka in a statement released ‎by his spokesperson, Maximus Ugwuoke, accused the past government of failing to heed to his prophecies that indicated Nigeria was going to experience economic hardship.

Nicholas 'Nick' Vujicic is an Australian Christian evangelist and motivational speaker born with  two small deformed feet, one of which Vujicic calls his "chicken drumstick" because of its shape.  Originally, he was born with the toes of that foot fused. An operation was performed to separate the toes so that he could use them as fingers to grab, turn a page, or perform other functions. Vujicic has been able to use his foot to operate an electric wheelchair, a computer and a mobile phone. Vujicic notes that he had an "amazingly normal childhood"  He's pictured with his wife Kanae Miyahara and two sons.
