Ebola: British Nurse who Survived Returns to Sierra Leone
William Pooley, the 29-year-old health worker who was the first Briton to contract Ebola in Sierra Leone, has returned to the country as he promised he would.
Pooley told BBC that he returned to Sierra Leone because he felt there was a great emergency in the country, and felt an urgent need to help out.
He will resume work today – Monday, at the isolation unit at Connaught Hospital in Freetown, Sierra Leone, where he will train staff and set up new isolation units.
