Jimmy Fallon, Wife Nancy Welcome Their Second Child -- a Daughter Named Frances!
Jimmy Fallon is a dad again — the late-night host and his wife Nancy welcomed their second child via surrogate on Wednesday, Dec. 3, a rep for the couple confirms to Us Weekly.
"The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Nancy, have welcomed a baby girl," a statement read to Us."Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 am on December 3rd weighing 5 lbs. 11 ounces and is 18.5 inches long. Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose, 1. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter, Frances Cole, made her official debut," the statement continued. "Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate."
The happy couple welcomed their first daughter into the world in July 2013. Following Winnie's arrival, the funnyman revealed during an interview with the Today show that they'd "been trying a while to have a baby" and when nothing else worked, they turned to a surrogate.
"We said, 'We're not going to tell anybody.' It'd be just more fun if it's just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody," Fallon explained. "When it happened we were in shock. We were like, 'Alright, who do we tell? Who's going to be mad at us if this gets out?' We had to call everybody and it's so emotional!"
