Arts & Culture: When Etisalat supported “Avalanche – The Kings of Dance”

Etisalat Dance Avalanche 02Etisalat continued its time tested practice of supporting the creative arts when it sponsored Avalanche – The Kings of Dance to encourage talent development especially the growth of the Nigerian entertainment and arts industry.
Avalanche, The Kings of Dance which took place at the Muson Centre, Lagos, showcased star studded cast performances from celebrities like Ali Baba, Ireti Doyle, Victor Olaotan, Linda Ejiofor, Cool FM’s Manny, Sensei Uche from City FM, Showman and a host of others.
For us at Etisalat we are always happy to be associated with arts and entertainment because the sector has been identified as one that has the capacity to create employment for our youth and keep them positively engaged,” says Orah Egwu, Manager, Sponsorships, Etisalat Nigeria.
DSC_2641Etisalat has proudly supported the industry through the sponsorship of several arts and entertainment events, such as the Ake Arts and Books Festival, LagosPhoto Festival, Nigerian Idol, as well as many international music festivals.
The company also has a platform that seeks to reward budding writers across the continent, known as the Etisalat Prize for Literature.
