#HeinekenLFDW2015 – Fashion Focus – Chechi Arinze, iola, Vedel & Wanger Ayu

The 2015 edition of the British Council Fashion Focus kicked off on Wednesday at Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015, with the first batch of 4 showcasing their talent to a room filled with fashion gurus, editors, photographers and more.

Showcasing their 2016 collections were fashion brands – Chechi Arinze, iola, Vedel and Wanger Ayu.

Chechi Arinze

Chechi Arinze’s brand is a very feminine and elegant brand so we expected nothing less than elegance from this Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

The pieces stood out with the metallic pink head piece all the models used.

Iola

The Iola collection was so effortlessly chic and ultra-feminine.

The designer, Ify Onyido, stuck with soft pastel tones and used a lot of floral prints for her Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

Vedel

The Vedel collection was one that showcased at least one piece every woman would love to have.

There were pastels, prints, neutrals and glam pieces.

We love the Victorian effect with fascinators and gloves.

Wanger Ayu

Wanger Ayu closed out the Fashion Focus showcase for Day 2 and we love how the pieces were restricted to one vibrant colour – blue.

The collection showcased had very lovely pieces that were simple and wearable. The designs were contemporary and Wanger Ayu showed everything from shorts to cocktail dresses and evening dresses.
