Wife of the Vice President Dolapo Osinbajo, Hakeem Belo-Osagie, Obiageli Ezekwesili, Nike Oshinowo and many more gather together for Etisalat-Sponsored “Hear Word” in Abuja
It was a gathering of dignitaries from all sectors last weekend, as Etisalat-Sponsored stage play, Hear Word made the final stop for its international tour at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Held at the Congress Hall of the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, the show was led by the wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo. Other distinguished personalities at the event include the Chairman of Etisalat Nigeria,Hakeem Belo-Osagie and his wife, Myma Belo-Osagie; Patron, Etisalat Prize for Literature, Dele Olojede; wife of the Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Mrs. Gimbiya Yakubu Dogara; Former Vice President of World Bank, Africa and Social Advocate, Oby Ezekwesili; President of DEPOWA, Mrs. Omobolanle Olonisakin; National President, NOWA; Theresa Ibass; National President, NAFOWA, Sadique Abubakar and National President, POWA, Agharase Arase, among others.
The performance marked the end of the three continent tour, which kicked off in April at the renowned Harvard University in Cambridge Massachusetts, and made a stop at Torp Theater – Central Connecticut State University, New Britain Connecticut both in the USA, then moved to the Frascati Theatre in Amsterdam, before heading back home for the long anticipated Command Performance in Abuja.
Hear Word is directed and produced by Ifeoma Fafunwa and features the theatrical ensemble of home grown actresses including veteran actresses Taiwo Ajai-Lycett and Joke Silva, as well as other Nollywood stars, Bimbo Akintola, Omonor, Elvina Ibru, Ufuoma McDermott, Zara Udofia, Rita Edward, Debbie Ohiri and Odenike.
