Ashlee Simpson Is Pregnant, Expecting First Child With Evan Ross

Ashlee Simpson is going to be a mother again!

The 30-year-old newlywed, who tied the knot with Evan Ross on Aug. 31, is expecting her first child with the actor/musician, a source confirms to Yahoo. She has one son, 6-year-old Bronx, from her previous marriage to Pete Wentz.

Last month, the 26-year-old Mockingjay star hinted to E! News that a baby may soon be on the way.

“We’re working on it,” Ross said at The Hunger Games premiere. “I would like it. As many [kids] as possible!”

Ashlee and Evan wed over Labor Day weekend at Diana Ross's Greenwich, Connecticut, estate after a year of dating. Evan's famous mother officiated their nuptials and performed "Endless Love" at the reception.

Miss Ross told The Insider With Yahoo that the "wedding went perfectly," adding, "We had a beautiful rainbow surrounding us, loving family and friends, great music, great speeches from caring friends, and joyful children dancing the night away... Wishing Evan and Ashlee congratulations. I want only love, happiness, joy for my son and his bride."

No doubt she is thrilled about the baby news. And we're sure soon-to-be Aunt Jessica is too. Jessica Simpson has two little ones of her own, daughter Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 1.

It looks like Ashlee and Evan's little boy or girl won't run out of playdates.
