EbonyLife TV, Africa’s first Global Black entertainment and lifestyle network, turned 3 on Friday, July 1st 2016 with an in-house staff party held at the EbonyLife TV HQ in Ilupeju, Lagos. The evening celebrated the dynamic team of people who have helped to create over 3000 hours of premium quality homegrown programming since the 2013 launch. Some notable faces at the event include  Victoria Akintunde  ( Mo Abudu ’s mother); other special guests –  Nkiru Anumudu, Ruth Osime, Pat Faniran, Ndidi Atuegwu, Marian Omatsone, Ebun Adeniyi, Debbie Ogene, Bola Ayeni, Ijeoma Nwogwugwu  amongst many.  Temidayo Abudu , a producer at EbonyLife TV, organized the intimate affair. Other guests caught having a good time include producers and presenters such as  Toke Makinwa, Zainab Balogun, Tosin Odunfa, Arit Okpo  and  Bolanle Olukanni . Man U signs Bundesliga Player of the Season Henrikh Mkhitaryan for £26m (photos)

Armenia's all time goalscorer Henrikh Mkhitaryan has now officially joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund on a four-year deal. The 27 year old made 140 appearances and scored 41 goals for Borussia Dortmund after joining them in 2013 and last season scored 23 goals and registered an impressive 32 assists across all competitions. Henrikh was voted Bundesliga Player of the Season for 2015/16 in a poll of his fellow professionals, and he was named in the Team of the Season following votes by the players’ union in Germany. The midfielder is Armenia’s all-time top scorer, with 19 goals in 59 appearances since his international debut in January 2007. Henrikh captains his national team and has received the Armenian Footballer of the Year award on five occasions.

Ibiere & Julius Agwu with their children Kids and lovers of the  Nickelodeon  channel filled Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, at the Palms Mall last weekend, for the official Nigerian premiere of  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows . The place was packed with lots of excited kids who came out to see their favourite Nick characters, engaged in several fun activities like games, face painting, and Photo sessions.
