In a statement titled "Stop going after soft targets", Avengers spokesperson Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo debunks the report that the Operatives of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS Delta) arrested and paraded suspected members of the Niger Delta Avengers. (Read  here ). The statement reads, "From media reports, it is clear Commodore Joseph Dzunve the Commanding officer NNS Delta has lost his sense of Professionalism, how are those innocent boys connected to NDA. We don’t know Prince David and Felix Ebiador they are not part of us. All NDA operatives are intact. No security operative has arrested any of our members. What the commanding office NNS delta commodore is doing is to please his boss that he is working. Must he connect innocent people to us? Very soon the general public will know the truth about Nigeria Military especially Nigeria Navy that specializes in illegal oil bunkering.

A former supermodel Ms Christina Estrada who dragged her former husband, billionaire Sheikh Walid Juffali to court demanding £196 million from the businessman to meet her 'reasonable needs' - which included two luxury houses, a huge clothes budget and five cars has been informed that her husband has passed away.  Her ex-husband, billionaire Sheikh Walid Juffali passed away in Zurich on Wednesday following a lengthy battle with cancer. Badly disfigured bodies of 21 young women and one man, including Nigerians who died in the Mediterranean Sea were recovered from rubber boats on Wednesday. The search and rescue vessel run in partnership between Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) and SOS MEDITERRANEE also rescued 209 people from the dinghies. The rescued include two pregnant women and 50 children, of whom 45 were travelling without parents or guardians. The bodies were brought to port of Trapani, Sicily on Friday, July 2 as fellow migrants described scenes of panic and violence when water poured into their dinghy. Some survivors had bite marks, testimony to a desperate struggle onboard to escape death.

Koffi Olomide was caught on camera assaulting one of his dancers after landing in Nairobi, Kenya yesterday. The 60-year-old Congolese soukous singer and dancer, accompanied by his wife and a group of dancers, landed at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport to a rousing reception by a group of Kenyan fans waiting to receive him.

When she found out he spent N200,000 to see her and traveled down from Nigeria, she decided to give him a big hug and then their lips brushed “Oh my god, I haven’t been kissed by another man in like six years! He just snogged me!" Adele said.

Pioneer EFCC Boss, Nuhu Ribadu Returns to APC

The Pioneer Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) ,  Nuhu Ribadu  has announced his return to the ruling  All Progressive Congress (APC) .                             Ribadu made this known in a post on his  Facebook Page . Ribadu who was a founding member of the APC left the party in 2014 after the then governor of Adamawa state,  Murtala Nyako  was impeached by the State House of Assembly. He joined the then ruling  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  and contested for the 2015 governorship election in Adamawa which he lost. There were reports earlier this week that the state chapter of the APC has been calling on the former police officer to return to the party.

She chose a battleground-state politician with working-class roots and a fluency in Spanish, traits that she believes can bolster her chances to defeat  Donald J. Trump  in November 2016. She announced her choice on Twitter & her website after months of deliberating on who could take the Democratic ticket in an unpredictable race against Mr. Trump.

According to the online news outlet, more than £26million was spent on doors for the opulent edifice while carpets cost over £7million. They also claim his wife, Emine goes on extravagant shopping sprees and once shut down a shopping mall in Brussels in order to shop for designer bags.
