In 2012  Rihanna  brought a case against fashion retailer Topshop for using her picture on a shirt without her approval. Her lawyers argued that it was false advertising as it would make her fans buy the shirt thinking it was endorsed by Rihanna. Well, RiRi won the case against Topshop’s parent company Arcadia for £3.3million ($5.5million). The high court found in favour of the Barbadian performer and granted an injunction prohibiting Topshop from selling the clothes without informing prospective purchasers that it had not been approved or authorized. For the collection the designer merged dreams and madness together. He takes his inspiration  from the  Cirque Dhiver  – a vintage Parisian circus. With a collection of white heels, gold minaudières and delicate lace ballerina flats, this year the British shoe house has expanded its wedding range, offering a new tailor-made service to brides-to-be.

Starting out in an atelier in Beirut, Zuhair Murad has gathered a following for his romantic-cut dresses, made from the finest of fabrics. Now recognized for his finely-honed craft, the Lebanese designer’s rich bridal collection is shown during Paris haute couture week each season. Brides-to-be are in for a treat, as the 2015 collection spells elegance and bold femininity like no other, while the designer shares his inspirations.

The attack on the town began at about 12.30am and could not be totally suppressed until about 11am. The battle initially raged from 12.30am to about 3.30am, when the attack was thought to have subsided. Other security operatives and members of the youth vigilance group joined in the exercise as the insurgents were successfully repelled.
