Ric Hassani, Vector Tha Viper and Bolu Olaitan Star in Sammies Couture Exciting 2016 Collection

Sammies Couture‘s 2016 collection is on one hand an exciting exploration of colourful fabrication for men and on the other hand a let down with the other less colourful fabric choices.
The colourful and more exciting pieces in this collection are things that I’d totally wear in a heartbeat without caring as much what the next person has to say, but the other pieces—although darker shades which I am most comfortable wearing—are a little too glossy for me.


That being said, I’m glad the lookbook most especially features Ric Hassani—who in my opinion is God’s gift to Nigerian menswear fashion all thanks to his smooth style and ability to give life to whatever he wears— alongside Vector Tha Viper and Bolu Olaitan.

A very rare historical nude picture of football legends King Pelé and Kaiser Franz Beckenbauer (both men pictured above) in what seems to be a locker room in the 60s has made its way to the internet. Pelé is full frontal nude in the photo, while Beckenbauer (younger him pictured right) is also nude but backing the camera. Beckenbauer is generally regarded as one of the greatest German footballers of all time and one of the most decorated footballers in the history of the game and twice won European Footballer of the Year. #HeinekenLFDW2015 –Orange Culture

Adebayo Oke-Lawal  of  Orange Culture  had the opening slot for Day 2 of the 2015  Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week  – and what an opening it was! True to his quirky style, the Orange Culture collection embraced vibrant colours and unusual styles but Adebayo Oke-Lawal totally pulled it off.
